Dwarika Memorial Charitable Trust Distributes Dry Ration Kits

On June 25, 2022, Dwarika Memorial Charitable Trust distributed dry ration kits and saris to 21 women. The women who received these items are employed as domestic workers in Pune. They work in households where they clean, wash clothes and dishes, cook, and provide child and elderly care. The dry ration kits and saris we distributed will help these women and their families make ends meet. Each dry ration kit contained a 2-month supply of rice, spices, flour, lentils, sugar, oil and other cooking ingredients.

Dwarika Memorial Charitable Trust is committed to building a better future for India’s socially disadvantaged, economically challenged and systemically marginalized. Domestic workers are often undervalued despite their impact in the workforce. We were pleased to recognize these women and support them for their hard work.
